One of the nice things about being a writer, even if only a budding writer, is that you get to meet some really great people, members of . . . the writing community.
Usually when I post a blog referring to writing community, I refer to those of you who are kind enough to follow and support my writing efforts, to be part of MY writing community. However, I am also fortunate to be part of still ANOTHER writing community, one comprised of writers I have come to know, especially those who graciously give back to the community of writers. (Of course, there is an overlap in these two communities, those who write and those who also support my writing.)
Kimberley Howe is one such writer. She writes (more about that below) AND she gives back to the writing community. Kimberley is 
the Executive Director of ThrillerFest, the annual writers conference sponsored by International Thriller Writers, or ITW as it’s commonly known. As such, Kimberley is the quintessential . . . give backer. Constantly backing writers, both as a group and individually, by many of the things she does every single day, both inside and outside ITW.
In spite of all that she does in that regard, Kimberley Howe, or K.J. Howe as she pens her novels, has somehow managed to find the time to develop her own writing skills. So, I thought I would mention to you her latest, SKYJACK, a read I just finished and think any thriller book fan will really love. EDITOR’S NOTE: Writers are also known to possess a tongue and cheek keen sense of humor. Hopefully, this will be borne out upon their reading of the third in my Brooks/Lotello thriller series, tentatively titled THE MEETING and to be released in 2019. It’s about the mysterious whodunnit serial killing of several prominent attendees at an annual writing retreat each of whom somehow managed to offend their invisible stalker. No doubt just a coincidence, the subject writing conference and cast ever so closely resemble ITW’s ThrillerFest and famous participants, including perhaps one Kimberley Howe.
