In case you missed it last week, I proudly announced the creation of a new eight part video series titled Writing a Murderer that will premiere on March 3rd, which (if this post reaches you when it’s supposed to) is already . . . tomorrow! Each episode is approximately two minutes long. A new episode will be broadcast every Tuesday and Friday at 6PM/ET. (I must be getting there, wherever exactly there is, because all the bigshots announce eastern standard time!) These videos are entirely free. There is no cost to access or view them. All you have to do is subscribe to my YouTube Channel and ask to be notified when each new episode becomes available.
I am humbled—and overwhelmed—by the interest and enthusiasm of all those who have said they want to watch the entire Writing a Murderer series.
Just one little hitch in my giddy-up! “All you have to do is subscribe to my YouTube Channel and ask to be notified when each new episode becomes available.”
And “How exactly do you do that?” many have asked (me included, until I scoped it out).
The answer is three easy steps, which you need to follow and complete before Tuesday, March 3:
1. If you don’t already have one, you need to create a free YouTube account. Just type “YouTube.com” into your computer, tablet or smartphone website browser, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Internet Explorer, whatever you use, and hit “Enter” or “Return” on your keyboard. In the upper right hand corner of the YouTube website home page, click on “Sign In” and use your existing email address and a password of your choice to create your account. You can also download the free YouTube app on your tablet or phone and follow these three steps from the YouTube app on your tablet or phone.
2. If you haven’t already done so, you need to join my free YouTube Channel. On the YouTube website home page, in the field at the top of page, to the left of the little magnifying glass symbol, type “Ronald S. Barak.” (Hey, in case you forgot, that’s . . . me!) This will take you to my YouTube Channel page. Or you can just also click here. You will see a prominent, red “Subscribe” button. Just click on it. That’s it. You are now a member of my YouTube Channel.
3. All that remains, if you haven’t already done so, is to choose how you want to be notified in your email inbox whenever I release a new video on my channel. Actually, when you subscribe to my channel (Step 2 above), you should automatically be scheduled to receive a notification in your email inbox each time I release a new video. To be sure that you will receive a notification for each of the eight video episodes in Writing a Murderer, click on the bell after you subscribe to my channel (Step 2 above).
That’s it. Honest! To watch a new video when you receive notification in your email inbox that I have released a new video on my YouTube Channel, all you have to do is click on the video from your inbox, your device app or your YouTube account “subscriptions” page.
I look forward to seeing you on March 3rd at 6PM/ET! Although I try to be a careful driver, be sure to fasten your Writing a Murderer seat belt! (Batteries not included!) I hope you’ll enjoy watching the Writing a Murder series every Tuesday and Friday as much as I did making it! No binge watching, or spoiler, folks. You have to watch the old fashioned way, when each episode is released, but you do get two a week. That’s not so long to wait.
